How the commission works on Kactus
Listing on Kactus is completely free and comes with no long-term commitment.
As a partner, you agree to pay Kactus a referral commission whenever a customer accepts one of your quotes.
The amount of the commission you have agreed to is set out in your partnership agreement, signed when you registered, which you can find in the ‘Invoicing’ tab of your profile.
🤔 How the commission works for enquiries made by an agency via Kactus
What happens if an enquiry comes from an events agency via Kactus? Will I pay double commission?
No, there’s no double commission!
Here’s how it works: Some event agencies use Kactus as a booking tool to manage and book events for their business clients. When an agency uses Kactus to request a quote or book an event, it goes through the Kactus interface, just as an end customer would.
In practice:
You receive a Kactus enquiry, identified as coming from an agency.
You apply your usual terms of partnership with Kactus: a one-off commission on the service fee, as set out in our agreements.
You do not pay any other commission to the agency.
Why it’s simple for you:
You only have to manage one partnership: the one with Kactus.
You only pay one intermediary: Kactus.
